itim-group road show
Throughout 2008/2009 we will be holding road show events. These events are designed to meet different companies in several countries around the world. The itim road show event takes the form of a one hour free seminar which outlines the key importance of culture at 3 levels: national, organisational and individual. Each seminar is open to all companies and will be presented by highly skilled and experienced itim consultants who provide the attendees with advice and resources to use global diversity to increase their competitive edge. Furthermore, the road show events serve as a great opportunity for companies as a networking means to exchange ideas, information, and services amongst different organizations.

itim Intercultural Management Open Courses
Our Open Courses on Intercultural Management are general intercultural management courses that explore the impact of culture on human interaction. Itim offers these courses a few times per year in different countries. The courses give participants insight into their own culturally based assumptions and behaviour as well as those of other cultures. We focus on practical subjects such as negotiations, meetings, communication, planning, management and leadership, which are affected by cultural differences. Participants from different companies will be able to share experiences and learn from each other. This is also a great opportunity for networking.
Our open courses are open for registration to all companies and individuals who need to increase their knowledge on intercultural understanding and behaviour issues. Please contact the person in charge of the course (mentioned after the course date) for more information about the course fee, content and registration.

Presented in several countries across the world our open courses are intended for:
  • managers with strategic responsibilities for international operations
  • managers and employees who travel abroad extensively
  • foreign employees who have recently started work in their host country
The courses are designed to:
  • increase your effectiveness when working in, or with, other cultures
  • highlight the significance of cultural differences between your own country and other countries for practical management issues such as negotiations meetings, communication, planning, leadership
  • demonstrate how to find solutions and synergies
The course programme has been developed around a five dimensional model (“5-D Model”) of national cultures. This model was developed as a result of extensive and continuing research by Professor Geert Hofstede, the world’s leading expert on culture and its consequences.
