We are open to people who believe in the necessity of creating cultural competence in the same way as we do.Itim has a structure where we offer licenses. To take a license means you become a member of a group of international professionals, who all are committed to delivering high quality solutions to clients in the area of culture of management.

The process of becoming an itim consultant consists of a 6-8 month certification process. The process starts twice per year, in March and October. All our consultants are educated by itim's top consultants and make use of itim’s materials and methodology in the same way.

Job profile: An itim consultant is a unique blend of consultant, trainer, coach and sales professional. Working as a consultant with itim you will build culture and management expertises to deliver client solutions that enable them to become more effective internationally by getting the most out of culture. Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying opportunities for improvements of international management
  • Translating the impact of culture on strategy, structures, management and operations into practical solutions
  • Commercial activities such as preparing business proposals, presentations, sales meetings and working on product development
  • Developing client programmes such as creating materials, course design work, logistics, project planning
  • Managing projects & programme such as consulting, training, coaching, account management and support.

Desired skills: We seek highly motivated people with a wide variety of experience of both working and living internationally and a strong record of consulting skills. We value personal skills like: integrity, openness and sensitivity. Besides outstanding cultural knowledge and a track record in consulting, you must be able to work independently. Our consultants do their own acquisition, so strong commercial skills are a must. To be able to provide long lasting solutions, consultants must demonstrate excellent didactical skills, high standards of professionalism and intercultural empathy. Innovative thinking, great ideas and strong initiative is an extra asset. We require from our consultants to be fluent in several languages both written and verbally and to have lived and worked in at least four different countries.
