Anna was born in Milan, Italy, where she got her university degree in Latin and Greek Literatures at Università Cattolica. She started her career in a multinational I.T. Company where she worked for several departments: Internal and External Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Education and Training.
Very soon in her professional development she joined multicultural teams operating in international programmes and probably that was the beginning of Anna’s interest in cultural differences. The most important experience she had at international level was during her three years in Brussels, where she worked as conference interpreter for the European Union.
In 1992 she became a training consultant and carried out many programmes dedicated to communications skills, presentation techniques, personal development and organisational behaviour, for clients of different market areas. In 1995 Anna joined itim as a trainer in intercultural management for the Italian market and since then has delivered many courses, lectures and seminars on national cultural differences, in which management and culture know-how are integrated by applying Hofstede’s Model. She has trained executives, managers and employees of companies such as Pirelli, Avon Cosmetics, Sony, Sirti, Astra Zeneca etc. At international level – from 1999 to 2002 - she has been a member of the faculty of NAME, an international programme for young managers working in the aerospace industry, organised by SAAB, Alenia, BAE Systems, EADS, OGMA, CASA.
Anna is fluent in English and French.
