Anne Rød was born and raised outisde Oslo, Norway by Norwegian parents. Her interest for international relations started during her exchange programme to the US when she was in her mid- teens. Every summer after was spent travelling and exploring new cultures. Anne moved to the UK at 21 where she took a Bachelor degree in Communications and a Master in Marketing. She then embarked on a career in strategic communication and PR, based in the United Kingdom, and nine years later in Norway.
Anne has worked within international PR and communication within sectors such as telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, IT, shipping, quality assurance, banking, recruitment and teaching, in positions spanning project manager to communication director. In addition, Anne has also been a member of the senior academic staff at BI, Norway`s largest business school with national responsibility for several courses within organisational and strategic communication. She has also published a book in the subject. Through her work Anne has gained a broad understanding of international business with all its rewards and challenges, and she is quick to grasp the strategic overview of a situation.
Since 2000 Anne has devoted her time to developing sustainable change in individuals and teams within organisations, and she has a broad portfolio of international companies in her clientbase. Since 2006 Anne has been a international coach trainer with the world`s largest coaching schools CTI (Coaches Training Institute) and CRR (Center for Right Relationships), beig a part of international teams that provide training internationally. Thus she also keeps abreast of new developments, methods and tools in the field of coaching and systems work. Anne is a very experienced facilitator and speaker and also heads up several international mentoring programs where cross cultural understanding and competence is key.
Anne lives outside Oslo with her family and speaks fluent English, Norwegian and conversational French and Spanish.
