Chris Soels, born in Belgium 1954, has lived in different countries in Europe and in the USA and he travelled and worked in over 32 countries. With a degree in technical engineering, he worked for the Belgian Air Force in Germany. After graduating from the University as a Physical Therapist and Acupuncturist, Chris started his own business in Belgium for 7 years.
In 1985 he joined EDS as a trainee where he graduated in Information Communication & Technology. Until 2009 he has worked in the ICT industry where he held different senior management positions at EDS, IBM, Logica and Diageo. He became specialized in the outsourcing field.
His core competences are in program & change management, personal coaching, consulting and training. Chris’ current work focuses on providing consultancy, coaching and training services for Corporations and Institutions to develop Leadership and Intercultural Competences in the areas of Intercultural Management, Leadership Development, Intercultural Communication and Interim Management. Through his professional career he has worked with a number of companies such as Unilever, GM, Nuon, AEGON, Hagemeyer, Delta Loyd, Rhodia, InBev, ING and Shell.
Chris currently lives in The Netherlands and enjoys also his home in France. He speaks fluently Dutch, English and French.
