How should people act? The answer isn’t as simple as the question. This is why Christina Röttgers, born in Germany, decided to study philosophy with a focus on ethics. She then worked as a professional facilitator in Europe and Asia with people from all over the world. Later she discovered cultural relativism as basis for intercultural management and training. She sees the Hofstede’s dimensions as a profound tool to help people to improve their performance.
Christina holds a Master’s degree in philosophy, Slavic Languages and Eastern European Law, she studied in Cologne, Germany as well as in St. Petersburg and Volgograd, Russia. She is fluent in German, English, French, works in Russian and remembers some Bulgarian.
Starting her own business at the age of 18, Christina worked independently on various international projects while studying. As facilitating consultant since 1998 she was specialised in developing strategies and visions as well as round table networking and team building - for global organizations as well as for small and medium sized enterprises. She has more than 15 years of training experience, teaching philosophy at the University of Cologne and training facilitation techniques e.g. in France, Indonesia and Ukraine. Christina is senior consultant at itim and provides intercultural training, facilitation and consultancy.
Christina lives with her partner, daughter and son in Cologne, Germany.
