During his thirty years with Royal Philips Electronics, Hans held various line and staff positions both at home and abroad. He spent a number of years living and working in Italy, Turkey and Tunisia and was in Spain and Portugal for shorter periods of time. His more than 12 years abroad as well as his internationally orientated work at Headquarters and especially his five years involvement with international Management Development and Training have contributed to his keen interest in cultural differences and their consequences for management and organisations.

Since 1991 Hans has done consultancy work for an impressive number of national and international renowned companies and organisations. In addition to his native tongue Dutch, Hans speaks English, French, German and Italian. He is married without children and spends his free time playing golf, skiing and deep water sailing.
