Heekyung Jo Min is based in Seoul, Korea and joined the itim-group in 1999. She was born and raised in Korea and graduated with honors from Seoul National University. She received an MBA from Columbia University and has lived and worked in New York, Tokyo, and London until she returned to Korea in 1998. Her previous experience includes public accounting and banking in New York, international finance in Tokyo and London. Her work involved extensive negotiations, project management, and consulting skills. She worked with clients in Europe, North and South America and Asia.
Since she moved back to Seoul, she has taught at Seoul National University, Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology (KAIST) for the MBA program, and at the Ewha Womans University. She has published a book based upon her experiences in working in different countries, and frequently speaks and writes on intercultural management issues. Samsung, Tesco, MSD-Korea, TI-Korea, and Yuhan-Kimberly are among her clients. Her area of specialty includes executive coaching, cross-cultural team building, and change management.
She is fluent in English and Korean and conversational in Japanese. She
is also a Certified Public Accountant.
