Before Javier joined itim in 2001, he was the general manager of Trates, a company consisting of a group of organisations working in several fields, particularly in human resources and product design management.

Javier has worked in the USA, the Netherlands, the U.K., Belgium and Hungary for several EU projects, amongst others PHARE, SPRINT, EUREKA and THERMIE with participants from the different European countries. His current clients include: Iberia, Hewlett-Packard, Endesa, Babcock Borsig, Bbva, Agilent and many more.

Javier is a visiting lecturer at the UPV (Basque Country University) and at the ESEUNE Business School. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has moderate language skills in French.
