Gerald A. Vastano has accumulated extensive international experience as an HR consultant and trainer focusing on fields that range from leadership development, intercultural management, and talent management to career transition, executive outplacement, organizational development and workforce training.
He moved to Belgium from the US in the year 2000 as a senior executive with the Benelux office of the career transition specialists Drake Beam Morin (DBM) Inc. In 2002 he joined Lee Hecht Harrison in Brussels as a Project Manager for EMEA; he also worked as a Consultant and Master Trainer, designing and delivering train-the-trainer programmes on career transition and change management. He is currently an itim Consultant in Belgium.
Jerry is particularly skilled in needs analysis, programme design and delivery, and various training, facilitation, coaching and counselling techniques. His accomplishments include designing and delivering a comprehensive learning programme for a global telecommunications company, involving cross-cultural and change management in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America, and managing a global talent assessment programme involving over 300 management/executive staff members. He has delivered programs and conducted business in 36 countries covering Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
Jerry Vastano is a graduate of Trinity College, Hartford (CT) and a member of various professional associations. He is currently on the Executive Board for the Association of Career Professionals International.
