Martina Pulver is a business consultant and intercultural facilitator. Her professional hub is Paris, from where she serves international customers in Europe, the US, China, West & Central Africa. Martina holds a Master Degree in European Management (ESCP-EAP Paris, London, Berlin). She did further education in organizational & social science, didactics, systemic thinking, and holds an NLPt master. Having started her professional life as a consultant at one of the big 5 consulting companies in 1991, she acquired knowledge and experience in information management and business reengineering. As a senior consultant she managed projects in C4 sector, fast moving goods and public authorities within Europe. Internally she implemented a sales process for Central Europe and set up a sales support team. In 1996 Martina joined Metaplan Consulting (in Hamburg & Paris), a consulting firm with a sociological approach to change in business. She learned all on how to facilitate change, manage group dynamics and utilize power play to help Top Management of international companies (Pharma, Financial Services, Automotive) to get things done at all levels and in key regions (US, Europe, China) of their organization. Within Metaplan, she shaped and restructured the training offer and customer service. It was in 2002, when Martina wanted to evolve the professional service offering by integrating business economics, sociological and systemic thinking with neuropsychological findings and tools. This had been the opportunity to create mapConsult in Hamburg and Paris. As a facilitator and organizational coach, she had the honor to accompany executives to review their company’s strategy, reshape their organization, introduce performance management, install a feedback culture, build leadership teams or simply play the role of a sparring partner for tricky issues. A colleague brought her into transboundary water resources management in Africa, where she advises international commissions in organizational & leadership issues. When Martina came across the itim consultants, she was fascinated by the perfect fit to her facilitating and organizational coach services. She could bring in her facilitation and didactical knowledge, extensive international project experience and her fluency in English, German and French. Besides the project life, Martina is giving tutorials on general skills at the Frankfurt Graduate School of Social Sciences.
