Peter Trix was born in Krefeld, Germany in 1962. Peter holds a combined master degree in business and engineering with an emphasis on marketing and computer science from the University Fridericiana, Karlsruhe, Germany. Peterīs curriculum is strongly affected by his international activities and his expertise in sales and sales management to multinational customers. He started his sales career at Compaq Computer (today Hewlett Packard). Following this Peter managed the international expansion of several US based start-ups, incl. the ChannelNet (www.channelnet.com), FirePond (www.firepond.com), Selectica (www.selectica.com), where he established and developed the companies European business. In a next step Peter headed up Holden international EMEA business. During that time he managed a major global transformation project and also acquired significant industry expertise in working with international companies such as Nortel, Motorola, NextiraOne, Orange, Canon and ACNielsen. In 2006 he decided to establish sales-genetics, a sales transformation consulting business that focuses on corporate clients with international sales and account teams. Peter works together with itim since 2008. With over 19 years experience in internationally geared management positions, Peter Trix has an intimate understanding of how to manage cultural differences within international sales / account management teams and how to apply this knowledge in clients with international buying centers. He is fluent in German and English, and speaks some Dutch & French. Peter enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and audio books, running marathons and playing tennis.
