Piero was born in Fiume (now Croatia) and lives in Monza (near Milan) with his family. He graduated in Electronic Engineering at Padua University and started his career in marketing with a multinational company (HP). After a period as Country Manager for Data General, he started his own company importing and distributing computer hardware and software.
After 10 years as General Manager of Epson Italy, in 1999 he moved to Amsterdam to join Epson Europe as Vice President. In his last position he was also responsible for HR. His long experience gained in both front and back office within various intercultural environments and his more recent commitment to HR issues at an International level – also involving executive training – have given him a strong understanding of both the intercultural challenges and the functioning (or malfunctioning) of an organization as a whole.
Having used itim’s services as a client for quite some time, Piero became interested in the itim approach towards an assessment of an organization’s culture, fully understanding the strategic impact that the culture of an organization has for its success.
Today Piero is a consultant for itim Italia, specialized in organizational culture. He is fluent in English and French, and has a basic knowledge of Spanish, German and Polish.
