Ricardo Recht is the Argentinean representative of itim International, Culture and Management Consultants. Ricardo joined itim in 2005. He has gained relevant practical knowledge and deep theoretical understanding of organisational culture as well as intercultural management issues already much earlier, for example when he co-operated with itim at the end of nineties.
Immediately after finishing his undergraduate studies in Argentina, he started to work for a consulting bureau that specialises in diagnosing and realigning organisational cultures. Concurrently he began teaching management related subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has since then worked as a consultant and teacher / trainer for different organisations in diverse countries.
As a graduate student in Germany he worked for the Research Institute for International Cooperation (University of Aachen). He obtained his Ph.D. from Tilburg University in The Netherlands writing about the cultural turnaround of a privatised enterprise. As an associate of the Institute for Research in Intercultural Co-operation (IRIC) Ricardo further collaborated in a number of cross-cultural projects.
After living and working in diverse European and Latin American countries for almost fifteen years he returned to his home country together with his wife and three children.
Ricardo speaks fluently Spanish, English and German and has moderate skills in Italian and Dutch.
