Sjaak Pappe (1953) graduated at the University of Amsterdam in Sociology of Management and Organisation and at the Institute of Social Sciences in Rotterdam in Labour Market Politics and Personnel Management. He is one of the senior consultants of the itim-group and joined the company after being a client of itim for many years.

Sjaak is a native of the Netherlands. He has worked for more then twenty years in several international companies which have their parent companies in the Netherlands (Vendex), Belgium (Hyphen), the United Kingdom (Boots) and the United States (Texaco). His fields of expertise are Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Customer Service Management and Total Quality Management. He worked both as a professional and as a manager. Before he joined itim he has been active in branches like Retailing, Tourist & Travel, Information & Communication Technology, Oil Industry and Management Consulting.

He is specialised in organisational and national cultures, people´s individual competences and it´s consequences for (inter)national people management and customer services. He conducted assignments and projects in several European countries and in the United States. Sjaak worked both as an expert and as a (project) manager, on developing (inter)national human resource management policies, developing (inter)national customer service operating standards, developing total quality standards, in setting up new foreign operations for international companies, on transferring operations and people from different countries to one corporate continental European office, on establishing international co-operation structures and in merging and acquiring companies.

Sjaak is fluent in Dutch and English, fair in German and he has a fair understanding of French.
