Although born in the city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands (1968), Vincent Sloot was raised in the Caribbean (Surinam and the Dutch Antilles) where he finished his secondary school. Upon his return to The Netherlands he studied at the College of Amsterdam ("Hogeschool Van Amsterdam"). He graduated holding a Bachelor degree in Management Of Technology.
After his graduation, Vincent has worked for over 10 years in the ICT- and Telecommunications industry as an international Account Manager and as an international Sales Executive. He travelled extensively through Europe as well as the African continent and has frequented the Americas.
Vincent is a consultant for Ideas4, a consultancy organisation in the Netherlands active in the field of intercultural management and organizational dynamics. His main focus includes conducting intercultural analysis of business and commercial management themes and developing and deploying intercultural communication, sales and negotiations programs for internationally oriented organizations. Furthermore, he is responsible for Account Management and Business Development Management.
Next to his native Dutch, Vincent is fluent in English and is getting better with Spanish. Vincent is an energetic and expressive trainer who is able to build personal relationships fast. His extensive international experience enables him to present examples that support the theoretical basis.
