Bob Waisfisz, born in 1942 in The Hague, the Netherlands, is an economist who has worked for the United Nations and for industry. As a child he lived in Indonesia and after having finished his studies, he worked some years in Turkey and the Lebanon. Since 1969 he travels extensively and his work has taken him to over 85 countries.

As director of a postgraduate Management Training Institute associated in those days with the Technical University of Delft, he has gained detailed knowledge of management styles in all their variety. Being very much an entrepreneur, he has established many different organisations and companies. He has undertaken many missions and assignments around the world in such areas as crisis management, evaluations, inspections and change management.

He is the founder of itim, which has at the moment licensees and associate partners in more than 20 countries. He has served many clients, having most of them transferred to his colleagues, such as BP, IBM and Philips. At the moment he works e.g. for Accenture and Mondi Packaging next to supporting his colleagues around the world.

Starting more than fifteen years ago he has developed and is still developing tools to conduct quick scans of the organisational culture of companies and other organisations and to assist clients in realizing their goals in a more effective and efficient way. These tools are seen by some, among them Accenture, as the best analytical tools available in the market place.

Bob coaches some senior and top managers either to become more successful in the international market place and/or to align their attitudes and behavior with the optimal culture they want to realize.

Language skills: Dutch and English fluent, French and German sufficient, Spanish became rusty but still somewhere around, rudimentary know-how of Japanese and Turkish.
